Tape Swap Radio returned to the Bethlehem Rose Garden on Saturday, May 13th to kick off our dates in the city’s Live in the Garden concert series. Lehigh Valley roots reggae band Trouble City All-Stars performed two hour-long sets to a packed crowd of about 300 attendees.

The band was made up of vocalist/drummer Todd Juknevic, guitarist Matt Juknevic, bassist Seth Juknevic, and keyboard/sax player Aaron Kravette. And while the Juknevic brothers have appeared at some of Tape Swap’s live events and sessions before (Rumplestiltskinz & The Dumpster Full O’ Sound, The Insidious Rays, Thundr Villain, Goat Wizard), this is the first appearance from Trouble City All-Stars at one of our events. The show was free and open to the public. The music kicked off at 6 PM and lasted until 8:30 PM. Check out some photos below.

We want to thank everyone who came out as well as Michael Harper for running sound. Live in the Garden runs every Saturday from 6 to 8:30 PM from now until July 1st. Tape Swap is presenting three more dates in the series, so we encourage you to come out to see some of the best that the Valley’s punk and DIY scene has to offer:

• 5/27 - Service Dog (indie rock, Bethlehem) | Lunch Trucks (rocksteady, Allentown)
• 6/12 - Sun Bus (surf rock, Emmaus) | Hexting (ambient/krautrock, Lehigh Valley)
• 6/24 - Pale Fang (punk/psych rock, Allentown) | Cnidarian (ethereal grunge, Lehigh Valley)
