On the latest WDIY 88.1 FM broadcast, we featured the Shards Session from Allentown, PA-based psych rock band Catatonic Suns recorded in March 2022. The band is made up of Jakob Christman, Patrick Shields, Caleb Strobl, and LJ Llaguri. They’ve been refining their their lush and noisy sonic template since beginning in 2018. They performed wo songs from the band's latest album, 2022's Saudade, and two songs from their first album, 2019's Aphelion. Listen or download the session below.

Also on the broadcast, we paid tribute to Chris Bailey, co-founder of the seminal Australian punk band The Saints who died earlier this year. We then explored other new and classic Austrialian punk bands along with some DIY, punk, and indie rock bands who have played in and around Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley area recently.
