The 2026 Lehigh Valley Summer’s End Punk Rock Flea Market presented by Tape Swap Radio came to the Ice House in Bethlehem, PA on September 5 for a day of vendor sales, food, and live music. Finishing off the event were live performances featuring three bands, in partnership with the IceHouse DIY Collective. Check out some photos below.
Rumple Stilskinz & The Dumpster Full O’ Sound - The Lehigh Valley trash rock band has recently reunited with a new bassist and drummer backing the wandering vagrant Rumple Stiltskinz. And while the identity of the band’s new bassist remains a secret, former Tape Swap guest Eric Santana filled in on the bass for this performance. You may recognize Eric from the recent Shards Session with Lehigh Valley surf rockers Sun Bus recorded earlier this year.
Rumple Stiltskinz did not hesitate to bring the weirdness for their flea market set. There were old Dumpster Full O’ Sound favorites on the set list like “Cheeseburger on Wheels” and “Meth Lab” performed. Stiltskinz even made up a song on the spot after asking someone in the front row for a suggestion ⎯ the result was an anti-data center song. Truly, the entire set was filled with nuggets of knowledge from Stlitskinz, who kept the attendees laughing and on their toes with off-the-wall statements (“Dog food and cat food are the same thing with different packaging. I’ve always wanted to say that.”) The band released a slew of balloons into the audience during the performance. And of course, there was the unidentified creepy clown on drums. Side Over - The NEPA melodic hardcore band delivered an energetic and powerful performance at the show, blasting through a set of both new and older songs. Side Over’s recent journey, reuniting in 2025 after 30+ years apart, has been a bittersweet one. The return to playing came after the sudden death of band co-founder Neil Husvar. The remaining four members clearly have their second wind, though, as they had the crowd moving and shouting along. Notablty, Side Over features former guest of Tape Swap’s live shows ⎯ Lou Rogai of Lewis & Clarke.
L.M.I. - The Lansdale dark hardcore trio opened the live music portion of the Punk Rock Flea Market with a brutal, unrelenting set. Hot off the release of their new EP, 2026’s L.M.I. V, the band has been leaning into some sludge metal elements in their music ⎯ and you could definitely hear a love of metal permeating through their songs throughout much of the band’s performance. Aggressive is an understatement, as L.M.I. did not ease up on the volume and intensity for the entirety of their set. Also, a side note: Bethlehem record label Killer Tofu Records has released some of L.M.I.’s music in the past, so there is a Lehigh Valley connection there.
